A note on gifts

Many of you are coming a long way, on short notice. Your presence is more than enough.
Most of you are artists, makers, chefs, etc. If you wish to bring something, we would treasure something made by you or chosen because it reminds you of us. Something we might keep and carry into our life together. If you want us to point you toward something specific, Nalata Nalata, The good liver, counter-space, tortoise general store, books, and fruit trees or plants, are some places to look.
Questions
where should we stay?
We booked out the 17 sea ranch lodge rooms for Friday and Saturday night. There are discounted rates and you can contact them to arrange lodging. Some rooms sleep 2 and others 4-6 so feel free to share with friends as well. You are also welcome to stay at a hotel in Gualala, which is very close by, or there are also many airbnbs in the area.
are children invited?
we kindly ask that your children do not attend
will the ceremony be outside?
yes! please bring a warm jacket just in case there is weather on the day
what is the attire
For the welcome dinner it's Dressy Casual. The wedding the attire is Dressy, Suits and ties are not required— button-downs, slacks, dresses, and elevated separates are all perfect. For the mushroom hunt it's casual, wear long pants and sneakers because we'll be scampering through the woods. For the farewell brunch it's also casual. It will be cool at night so bring a warm jacket and wear shoes that are comfortable on uneven terrain.
how do we get there?
If you're coming from New York, the quickest way is flying to SFO and from there it is about a 3 hour drive. If you're coming from Los Angeles, there are flights to STS, which is about an hour and a half away. If you want to make a road trip out of it, it's about 8 hours north from Los Angeles. We're happy to help people coordinate and are going to offer a shuttle from both STS and SFO on Friday October 23rd.
